چکیده

Hf (x)= lim →0+ H f (x). It is well known that this limit exists a.e. for all f ∈ L, 1 ≤ p < ∞. In this paper, we will consider the oscillation and variation of this family of operators as goes to zero, which gives extra information on their convergence as well as an estimate on the number of λ-jumps they can have. For earlier results on oscillation and variation operators in analysis and ergodic theory, including some historical remarks and applications, the reader may look in [2], [3], [5], [4], and [6]. For each fixed sequence (ti)↘ 0, we define the oscillation operator ( H∗f ) (x)= ( ∞ ∑

Fault Detection Method on a Compressor Rotor Using the Phase Variation of the Vibration Signal

The aim of this work is the application of the phase variation in vibration signal for fault detection on rotating machines. The vibration signal from the machine is modulated in amplitude and phase around a carrier frequency. The modulating signal in phase is determined after the Hilbert transform and is used, with the Fast Fourier Transform, to extract the harmonics spectrum in phase. This me...

Classification of Voltage Sag Causes using Probabilistic Neural Network and Hilbert – Huang Transform

Any power quality disturbance waveform can be seen as superimposition of various oscillating modes. It becomes necessary to separate different components of single frequency or narrow band of frequencies from a non stationary signal to identify the causes which contribute to power quality disturbances. In this paper a method is proposed to detect and classify voltage sag causes based on Empiric...

Detection of power oscillation and simultaneous faults using Clark transform

Distance relays are widely used to protect transmission lines. Sometimes, in these lines due to the occurrence of the oscillation of the power, the impedance calculated in the distance relay enters into its functional zones and leads to the cutting off of the lines. This issue can cause global power outages. Accordingly, in this paper, a Clark-based method for detecting the oscillation of power...

EMD: A Package for Empirical Mode Decomposition and Hilbert Spectrum

The concept of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and the Hilbert spectrum (HS) has been developed rapidly in many disciplines of science and engineering since Huang et al. (1998) invented EMD. The key feature of EMD is to decompose a signal into so-called intrinsic mode function (IMF). Furthermore, the Hilbert spectral analysis of intrinsic mode functions provides frequency information evolvin...

Nonlinear and Non-stationary Vibration Analysis for Mechanical Fault Detection by Using EMD-FFT Method

The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is a powerful method for nonlinear and non-stationary vibrations analysis. This approach consists of two basic parts of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and Hilbert spectral analysis (HSA). To achieve the reliable results, Bedrosian and Nuttall theorems should be satisfied. Otherwise, the phase and amplitude functions are mixed together and consequently, the ...
